What does life cost?
a Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price film review
Great film!!! Important is what something costs;
(price is only a part of a buying decision) even more important is where it comes from, what it is made of, how sustainable, renewable and recyclable it is, who makes it, what they get paid [including, or not, benefits], what are their working conditions, what guarantees or warranties the company making it or selling it provides... and much more!
A decent company, committed to it's Country, it's environment, it's people and it's community sees a way to incorporate values, ethics and fairness.
Wal*mart is not now what Sam Walton first envisioned, other than, perhaps, the business/ profit model. He would be ashamed to see it now.
