Enthusiastic Discussion Following Screening
a Food Matters: Let Thy Food Be Thy Medicine film review - 1 person found this helpful
We finally held our screening of the Food Matters film after having to postpone our initial date. We had a small group attend, as we are in a very isolated part of Australia and many locals jsut don't seem interested in taking health into their own hands. However, we had 5 teachers and a local organic farmer and the discussion following the screening was fantastic.
I was surprised at the reaction that some people had to discovering that we could actually turn illness around through an effective diet. There is still a notion that if you have a label, then you are somehow different to others and can't possibly get rid of the condition.
It is my hope that through sharing this information, my friends will talk to others and the message will spread further. The fire in my belly burns brighter as I develop the confidence to talk with others about taking back control of their health, and this DVD has helped a great deal.
Thank you for compiling such wonderful, yet simple information, with a group of awesome presenters. Together, we will make changes for the better.

Great review! I would like to recommend a couple 3 books to spur your knowledge, enthusiasm, and healing abilities on to GREATER HEIGHTS: 1) 'Life Without Bread' by Wolfgang Lutz, M.D., 2) 'Naturopathic Nutrition' by Abram Hoffer, M.D., and 3) 'Green Pharmacy' by James Duke, Ph.D.' Keep up the good down under work. We are just beginning to gather momentum on this Nutritional Revolution--to go back to where we should have been in the first place, with added wisdom...
